Please brace yourself for this next statement (especially if you are my mother): I CLEANED OUR ENTIRE KITCHEN BY MY SELF!!!
You may be thinking to yourself, but Jacque, everyone cleans kitchens. This is not true in my case, if you know me well enough, you know, that I detest cleaning. Why do you think I married Kevin? He is a clean freak and cleans up after me. He does the dishes, cleans our bathrooms, is simply amazing! Well, my clean freak of a husband was working all day Friday and Saturday and I decided I was sick of our messy kitchen. So, while the babies were sleeping... I moved every thing I could out of our kitchen area, swept, mopped, and rearranged! I even got down on my hands and knees and scrubbed the cracks of our cabinets with a toothbrush. The cleaning bug had bit me and there was no stopping! Even after my little boogers woke up from their nap, I continued to clean scrubbing counter tops and putting away clutter. Seriously, I have never cleaned this hard core in my life. Well, maybe a couple of other times, but not in this house of ours. I was so proud of myself! And to put a cherry on top of my sundae... Kevin and I have committed to keeping our kitchen this nice. I hope it lasts....
